Get consent first
Only message people who agreed to hear from you. No scraped or bought lists.
The rules that keep eHub SMS trusted by recipients, carriers, and TCRA. Follow these and your messages get delivered; break them and accounts get suspended.
The four that matter most. Full detail follows below.
Only message people who agreed to hear from you. No scraped or bought lists.
When someone replies STOP, stop. Remove them promptly and don't message again.
No fraud, scams, hate, threats, or anything unlawful under Tanzanian law.
Don't impersonate other brands, banks, or government with your Sender ID.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses eHub SMS and to every message sent through the platform. It forms part of our Terms of Service. We keep this policy strict because spam and abuse harm every sender: carriers throttle traffic, recipients lose trust, and delivery rates fall for all. Following these rules keeps your messages landing.
You may only send messages to recipients who have given you permission to contact them. Acceptable consent includes a customer who signed up, bought from you, or otherwise asked to receive your messages.
Every recipient has the right to stop hearing from you. When someone replies STOP (or an equivalent), they are unsubscribed and you must not message them again. For marketing campaigns, make it clear how to opt out. Continuing to message people who opted out is a serious breach of this policy.
You may not send messages that contain or promote:
Some lawful categories carry higher risk and may require additional verification, or may be limited or refused at our discretion or by carrier/TCRA rules. These include lending and financial offers, gambling and betting, political and election messaging, and adult products. If you operate in one of these areas, contact sales@ehub.co.tz before you start so we can confirm what's allowed.
Credits consumed by messages that breached this policy are non-refundable. We may also recover from you any fines or charges passed on by carriers or TCRA as a result of your traffic.
If you received an unwanted message sent through eHub SMS, you can reply STOP to be removed by that sender. To report spam, fraud, or any abuse of our platform, email us with the details:
